You want that instant, cozy heat—especially when you’re stepping out of a shower—but you don’t want it to feel like you’re staring directly into the sun. This is a big deal when you’ve got kids or babies around, since their eyes are way more sensitive than ours. The secret is moving away from those harsh, standard emitters and using a filtered spectrum that’s easier on the eyes.
Dealing with the Steam
Bathrooms are basically steam rooms. To handle that, we build these units to IPX5 standards. In plain English? They can handle a splash or a stray jet of water without blowing a fuse. But the real magic isn’t just in the glass. It’s in the hidden spots—the places where the wires meet the frame. We use silicone gaskets and heavy-duty potting compounds to lock moisture out. Heat You Feel, Not Just See

A Few Tips for Setup
When you’re wiring these in, just remember that the heat is very concentrated. Give the fixture some breathing room. If you crowd it too much, you might warp the plastic housing or even overheat your ceiling. Also, make sure your mounting brackets can actually handle the heat coming off that quartz tube.
